Copyright Policy
Version 2.0 · Effective 2026-10-13 · Reporting infringement, counter-notices, and repeat infringers.
How to report copyright infringement on the FaNILy platform.
1. Overview
FaNILy is operated by Fanily Ventures LLC ("FaNILy", "we", "us"). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
This policy explains how to send us a notice of claimed infringement, how to respond if your own content is removed, and what happens to accounts that infringe repeatedly. This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service by reference. Capitalized terms used and not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
Send notices of claimed copyright infringement and counter-notices to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent
Fanily Ventures LLC
3760 Sixes Rd, Ste 126-203
Canton, GA 30114
copyright@gofanily.com
(943) 400-2448
Notices sent to any other address, email address, or contact may not be effective.
3. How to send a notice of claimed infringement
If you believe that material on the Platform infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send our designated agent a written notice that includes substantially all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, including the URL or the screen where it appears.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
A notice that does not include substantially all of the items above may not be effective, and we may ask you to supplement it before we act.
4. What we do when we receive a notice
If a notice substantially complies with Section 3, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the material identified in it. We will take reasonable steps to notify the person who posted the material, give that person a copy of the notice, and explain how to submit a counter-notice. We may also record the notice against that person's account for purposes of Section 8.
We may decline to act on a notice we determine does not substantially comply with Section 3 or that we reasonably believe was submitted in bad faith.
5. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Consider consulting an attorney before sending a notice or a counter-notice.
6. How to send a counter-notice
If your material was removed or disabled and you believe that happened because of a mistake or a misidentification, you may send our designated agent a written counter-notice that includes substantially all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Fanily Ventures LLC may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or from that person's agent.
7. What we do when we receive a counter-notice
If a counter-notice substantially complies with Section 6, we will promptly send a copy to the person who sent the original notice and inform that person that we may replace the removed material or restore access to it in ten (10) business days. Unless that person notifies us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may replace the material or restore access to it not less than ten (10) and not more than fourteen (14) business days after we receive the counter-notice.
8. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. In deciding whether a user is a repeat infringer we consider the number and nature of the notices we have received about that user, whether any of the material was restored following a counter-notice, whether the notices appear to be duplicative or in bad faith, and any other circumstances we consider relevant.
Termination under this Section 8 may include closing a Fan account, removing an athlete's content and storefront, and ending an athlete's participation under the Athlete NIL Participation and Licensing Agreement. We may also suspend an account while we investigate.
9. Other complaints
This policy covers copyright only. If your concern involves a trademark, a person's name, image, or likeness, impersonation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any other issue, contact support@gofanily.com rather than using the procedures above. Reports of unlawful content, including non-consensual intimate imagery, are handled separately and expeditiously as required by applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date. Notices and counter-notices are governed by the version of this policy in effect when we receive them.
